ALCOA wheel question ?

I took all the Hubcaps off and polished my wheels. They look great but I'm having trouble getting the two part ALCOA lug covers to tighten back on, they are taking a lot more torque than the 20 foot pounds and still pull right off.

There must be a secret I don't know, any ideas?

Threads could be stripped?

I very much doubt I have 40 striped threads. No there's a trick to it.
