Alert/Alarm for Losing Shore Power???
Has anyone come up with a way to be made aware that you've lost 50A shore power? Silly question? Well, if your inverter is armed to kick in with a loss of AC power, that's great! If you happen to walk by the "power panel" in the hall way and happen to notice that the 50A is not lit, or the load shedding lights are not lit, great! If you happen to attempt to fire up some high draw items and you hear a growl or they don't work, great!
But wouldn't it be nice to hear a chime or a tone that lets you know that AC power has been lost? I see little plug-in digital voltmeters on Amazon, but that's not going to tell you anything until it's too late.
Any other ideas besides the auto gen start idea?
