All dash chimes/warnings inop

None of the dash sounds/chimes related to low air, headlights on, or turn signals are working. The associated functions/lights all work normally. I can find no fuse that seems responsible. Since they all quit it seems likely the problem is either power source or the speaker device. I've looked everywhere under the dash and front area for anything that looks like it might generate sound. I wish I had paid more attention to where the sounds came from.

Thanks for any suggestions,
BARRY

look under your dash for something like this. Several people have had them fail but several have disassembled it and repair/replaced the internal speaker. Click image for larger version

Need some wiring diagrams to give a direction, but it sounds like it could possibly have something to do with ignition wiring/switch. Are you saying the headlights don't work with the switch or don't illuminate key on, like daytime running lights?

Thanks, WINDSORBILL, the photo is what I need to know what I'm looking for. Of course my first look hasn't found anything like that. I'll have to continue searching. When I dumped the air today I did hear a couple of quick and weak dings. Too quick to help locate the sound but that does indicate the problem is likely the annunciation itself or possibly a bad connection. At least I now know what the thing is called.
