Years ago, (2003) I had a brand new coach and was on my way home from the sand dunes in St. Anthony's Idaho when that symbol appeared on my trans display. I kept driving and when i stopped for diesel in Utah, I was unable to re-start the engine. Eventually after removing the battery cables then re-attaching them I was able to start and continue my trip. Ultimately the problem was the wire loom for the Allison, it had rubbed against a piece of metal and caused a short circuit. The wires were separated, taped then secured and the problem never re-appeared.

I have a 2009 Monaco Dynasty with Allison and had a somewhat similar problem in that after returning home from a trip and backing into the driveway I shut down and then could not restart the engine....nothing. After lots of checking and researching I found that the problem was the Transmission Control Module. On my rig it was located in the ceiling of the pass-through bay and I had to have an Allison mobile tech come out and remove the old TCM and order a new one & have it programmed before installing the new one....once the new TCM was installed all worked AOK. Hopefully, this is not what your problem is....since this TCM is quite expensive but thank goodness for the extended warranty covering the cost... ))

Thanks for the replies. I have had no starting issues at all. The cat eye being stuck on is killing my batteries I'm to the point of disconnecting battery's from harness. Anybody know where I can get a diagnostic code reader for Allison trans eBay maybe ?

Going through all wiring cleaning all corrosion searching for every ground and cleaning or replacing
