Where are you buying the alternators from? I've had problems with aftermarket parts and now will only use OEM electrical parts.

Lets see - Early 2000 Monoco- Probably a Leese Neville - My guess !
If that's the case its almost bullet proof. and you have grounding issues that you haven't discovered yet. $1000 Bucks a pop is absolutely Ridiculous unless you have very deep pockets. If in fact you have a LN Alternator - Call them ! They offer excellent Tech support !
