Sorry not even my Acrobat DC will convert it. I only have a paper copy, that's why I took a picture of it.

I converted it but the original resolution is not good enough.

Perhaps a closer picture of each half of the diagram.

The exciter voltage definitely has to go through the voltage reg. The reg controls the power to the armature.

That is what I'm thinking and hopping it's the only issue. I will know when I get the battery Isolator and start it up...I think Tue.

Check for power at the "sense" and "ignition" wires at the alternator. Here is a diagram of your setup (2000 Dynasty).

I believe I mentioned already that you are free to download the wiring diagrams from my OneDrive folder. Link in my signature line ("2000-2005 Wiring Diagrams" folder).

Thank You very much Mike,

I had internet connection problems yesterday.
All of these connections on my alternator are covered with rubber boots. I've had them off once. (not fun, all mirror on an extension work) My plan is to put in the new Battery Isolator and if everything runs as it should just go with that.

You should not get 26 volts from the alternator. The alternator regulator sensing a no load. I agree it sounds like the battery isolator is messing up. If the isolator or wiring to the center post is open the charging will run away until a breaker or regulator safety kicks out and then will be zero until it kicks back in. A shorted battery will also drive the system nuts but usually smell it.

This problem is fixed. It was the dual battery isolator. I replaced it and all is good.

Yeah...I've decided when posts get long a lotta' guys just read the top and post a response, not wanting to take the time to read the entire thread. You've had as much interest after you fixed it as before!?!
