Am I missing a zerk ?
My manual for my 2007 Diplomat is on page 225 and 226 referring to 3 grease fitting marked "14". They are for Slack adjusters/S-Cams. This is on the rear axel.
I have now been under my coach for 25 minutes looking for the 3rd zerk and I just can't see it or find it. Am I going blind or are there just 2 zerks?
I see 1 zerk at the horizontal shaft that ties in to the wheel and 1 zerk at the uppermost point of the slack adjuster. That's all I can find.

Henrik,
Hmmmm.....you've got me wondering. My book also says 3 zerks. Now that you mention it, I only remember two on each wheel also. I just greased the cams/slack adjuster last week. Great, now I'm going to have to go back under there again and look,......but for the life of me.........OH, wait a minute! I do believe that there is a top and a bottom zerk on the slack adjusters. There definately is just one zerk on the camshaft. One is a ninety degree zerk and one is straight. (ninety on top and straight on the bottom)
Happy hunting,
Tom

Hi guy's and thank you for the reply.
Tom - I have been underneath the Dip again and I still can't find the 3rd zerk.
The straight one underneath that you mention escapes me.
I haven't tried to use photo's in the new forum so I will try to attach a photo. If that doesn't work I will try to post the photo in a different way.
From the photo you could maybe tell me if it looks like my 3rd zerk is not there? You can see the 90 degree zerk at the top and the zerk on the shaft.

Hi Ron
We are good except for that we go back to work on Friday . I have to admit that I would much rather do what I am doing right now.
Thanks for clearifying this for me - I will stop looking now.

Okay, I'm going to have to go under the rig also. I saw your two zerks in the pic. It's dark now.....
