Am I supposed to have weep-hole covers?

My '97 Dynasty's windows are all in really nice shape. However I've noticed that the drain holes/weep holes are all open to the air at the bottom of the window.

Is that normal/okay? Or should I be trying to find replacement weep-hole covers for them? What's the point of the covers in the first place? Reduce window noise?

My driver's side window has weep covers, but that's the only one.

Reduces wind noise. They fall off when washing coach, probably where yours went. Company tht made them sold/acquired, no longer produced and hard to find now or $$$.

Good luck. I have a bunch of pass side ones but hav ebeen looking for driver side ones periodically for a year. (: If you find them a dab of Proflex on the tabs will keep them in place.

Good to know.

Somebody with a 3D printer should get on this.

I do have an annoying whistle form the passenger's side front on the highway. Next trip I'll try taping over the weep holes to see if it makes a difference.

I tape over mine with vinyl tape. But I do not press it down to contact the holes.

That is, it is stretched over the top of the holes so air and water can flow under the newly formed channel.

This has worked for years. No wind noise and the drains still work.

I’ve made some with a 3D printer. Not sure if we had the right material for retailing them though

Went through 15 pages on thinguniverse I searched RV. .... wow they have a lot more goodies and abandoned parts than a couple years ago. Found weep hole cover for Toyota MH only, searched weep hole. There were ladder end caps are on there recent post looking for some IDR brand. I know a member makes hose and cord mouse proof covers. Not sure if he creates 3D files or just prints them.

I buy some . Would seal them on and paint them solve the issue. I know not every printer can use every material. I tried to steer clear before I ended up with another hobby.

Am I supposed to have weep-hole covers?

If you using tape should know that those holes are there for a purpose. Be very careful ! Water must be able to get out of the frame. If you tape or seal them in any way you will end up with dry rot or worse in the wood under the window.
In searching for them , the proper name is weep hole covers. I found some for mine a few years ago by searching using that along with the specific window manufacturers name. Wasn’t easy and I should have bought more. They were only a couple bucks each.

Just restating my previous suggestion.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

I have a friend who's handy with a 3D printer who is willing to try to make some for me. I have to remove one of my 2 remaining ones from the window and give it to him to model. Since it's winter here now, I'm thinking I'll wait for a warm sunny day so the plastic will be more flexible before I try to remove it. Any suggestions on how to remove it safely? Pinch the arms inward so they stop latching on the outside of the holes?

In the meantime, I may try taping over the front window holes the next time I need to drive the coach to see if it reduces the wind whistling sound coming from the front right side.

Look them up based on brand of window.

Do NOT cover them up unless you are in the desert where 0.0% chance of rain.

Well I'm not sure how to figure out what brand I have?

Nothing in the owner's manual or materials that talks about the windows.

My Beaver coach (a Monaco brand at the time 03 has SE-GI windows ) Maybe might be similar ? Take a look at photos of the ones online and see if they might fit. They look the same as the ones I have. I found several sources in the 3-5$ range. Here's one if the have in stock . its who I bought mine from a few years ago.http://nwrvsupply.com

Look in the bottom corners of your windows. The brand name should be etched in the glass.
