I know what you mean about feeling trapped. We had a trip planned in August and September touring the maritime provinces of Canada but had to cancel. Not sure when travel across the border will be allowed again but have decided to wait until 2022.

Check to be sure you do not have one of the hydraulic steering dampers (Safe-T-Steer?). They have powerful "centering" springs inside what looks like a large shock absorber. If you have one, it must be quite accurately in the center of its travel when you are traveling straight ahead. Painful personal experience taught me this.

That is the first thing I checked is to see if it had a "Safety Steer" which it doesn't. That would have been too easy.

But thanks for the input!

On second thought may be I should put a Safety Steer on it to counteract the pull, that would be easy to do. Probably allot cheaper than having an alignment shop fix it, that's if they even could??

That like making the legs on your table longer on one end than the other because the floor in your house slopes to one side.

Sorry, I did not catch the humor and thought you were being serious. Vanwill calls those steering stabilizers snake oil because they only serve to mask the real problem.

Well I have to agree with you there. I personally don't like the idea of the steering stabilizer because all it does is forces the steering to stay in the straight ahead position. When you turn a corner then it puts more forces on your steering components putting more strain on them and causing premature wear. Our old coach was on a Freightliner chassis and steered like a dream, never a problem when trucks passed, as long as there was no wind you could drive it with just a couple fingers on the wheel. But if it was windy it was a different story, I got a workout! lol. And if it had a Safety Steer it would make it worse as I would be fighting it as well.

These are just my personal opinions so please no negative comments.
