FWIW we have a rather expensive residential propane cooktop which we no longer use. We pretty much do all our "stovetop" cooking on a pair of countertop induction burners. In theory, this would give us the capability to have 4 burners (2 induction plus 2 gas) but, in reality, 2 is the most we would ever need in addition to the microwave/convection oven, a Breville countertop oven and a sous vide cooker. We do some pretty sophisticated cooking with that impressive array of devices.

Are you traveling with a large family ? Three burner stoves in a rv are about the most you’ll see. The two burner propane stove top in our Marquis is a high efficiency European unit with two burners. We bought a single induction portable just to try it and never ( almost never) use the two burner anymore
From my shopping , in most high level used coaches we looked at the stove tops ovens etc are unused.
One can assume many things, but I think the original purchaser of a half million $ + coach generally doesn’t prepare large gourmet meals ! Mostly they just prepare drinks and snacks while deciding where to go out for dinner lol .
While we are second owners there is only two of us so rarely need that many burners , Smaller meals ( BBQ outside almost daily) When we retired My DW also ( a great cook BTW) Informed me she Retired from daily 'Kitchen" duty lol...... only fair
I think that’s pretty standard for most owners of these large MH thus the minimal kitchen designs , at least for the original owners .. the ones with the money to buy them, who the manufacturer really cares about!
Might be Cheaper/ effective to modify one to a larger stove top with a couple thousand $ in cabinet work if you really need that much cooking capability that way you get a quality coach and the stove top you want.

If you're using a MH only for vacation or long weekends, a minimalist kitchen might make sense. But for full-time use that's simply not a sensible arrangement. Do people think full-timers go out to dinner every night or cook outside all the time?

We've looked at newer MH's and, in general, they have what we consider to be rather inadequate kitchens, with far less counter space than we currently have. No incentive to trade "up" if what we get is not as nice as what we have!

Well, anybody can find examples that aren't "normal" . I can only say i've recently spent some time with a group of high end coach owners in a couple parks with full time or at least 8 month a year part timers in "New" high end rigs ( 500,000 OTD +) and ,yes , They went out to eat much more than us.almost to a Rig! In both cases it was Happy hour then out to eat , or a "pot luck" at somebody's site. Almost every afternoon!
"Second" level buyers, like myself , are much more likely to not eat out as much IMO.Different lifestyle? There are obviously exceptions but I firmly believe after talking with salesmen looking at used coaches in this level whos Kitchens were obviously unused and owners also, that that's the Manufacturer Market for what is now a 700,000 grand MSRP coach. They make em the way the people with the money to buy them new want them. again , JMO

I don't doubt that you are correct. We'll never be able to afford a >$500k MH which is probably just as well since we wouldn't fit in with that lifestyle either.
