On an 2001 exec with 4000 tranny

The wire is attached on the ps top of the tranny. I could not find a mating connector near by. It has a spade connector on the end that implies a sensor to me. Cummins did a tranny fluid and filter service last summer. Wonder if it was disconnected then. I have not noticed any issues with it being loose. The wires are bare leading me to believe it has been loose for a while.

Should be a male spade connector at the rear of the Allison.
I think the wire connects to the shift panel and indicates fluid level etc.
Iver.

ID:	192834thanks. Found it. Not what I expected. I was looking in the housing. Need to test when we get on the road. Vmspec should allow me to follow the temp.

Thanks again

Kerry

Mine was loose also. I added a couple of wire ties around the hose to help hold the wire in place.
