Yes that is a good comparison without the air shows.

I may try to make it this time, haven’t been in about 5 years. Has anyone heard from Drifter, I haven’t seen anything from him in a long time, seems like he was always the point guy for Quartzsite.

The official Quartzsite RV show is January 22-30, 2022. Many in the monaco group get there several days, or even a week or 2 earlier. Some stay till the end of the show, some leave early and some stay well into February or beyond.

How is the cell service in Q, with all those folks in that area at the same time? Verizon and AT&T?

Last year on Verizon: In La Posa South, far south end, from Dec 1 to March 15, got very good reception (through my cell booster - fewer bars without it). Streamed Netflix most of the time. During the 5:30-8:00pm after-dinner time during January, the cell tower got congested, and I had lots of buffering. But great every other time.

From this point travel 2.3 miles and you'll see the sign on the right for La Posa South long term visitors area. Turn left, pay your fee at the BLM shack and proceed only about 1/2 mile and look on the right for a bunch of Monaco's in a circle.
Not sure yet if we're coming down this year. No concerns with the Wu Flu just have to see what's going on and if we want to bug out of Happy Valley then.

You all had better be there!!! We got some trails to explore.
And if anyone else likes to run around in the desert with their (insert 4x4 here) we can plan on some fun trips exploring. See you all then - Brian

Don’t let the shots give you false sense of security. My buddy is all vaccinated up n as I type this he is extremely sick with C 19. So protect yourself n probably the best place to visit is daddy’s daycare!! Have fun.

Not making the show, but we might spend 5-7 nights there in late February.
Wait and see what this new covid is doing?
