Anyone replace Uline ice maker mold assembly with more universal one.

I posted here because I have only seen them in Monaco or American coaches.
So the black coating is peeling from the ice mold. Besides making 12 very thin cubes instead of 8 ,it looks like 90% of every other ice maker mold assembly even gear drive and cube size adjuster screw. Price is around 275 to 400 for Uline and Frigidaire is around 50 to 70 .The plug is different configuration none of the universal harness adapters match. I'm hoping to release the the crimps from plug and move the OEM plastic connector I have Molex tool for releasing if they match up. Hopefully the gender of metal connectors are the same.

I didn't find this in search, but figured someone tried it.
U,line is proud of their stuff lol.
No more buying single components aka "ice mold" listed in 95 Owners manual.
I have a 1970 IH Travelall "4 door scout" With service manual , it shows how to rebuild/repair/maintain the wiper motor with full parts break down .
