Anyone use ceramic coat?

I am finally getting my slide fixed, and I plan on having the coach detailed in and out. I read that it cools cars a lot, They say you can put in on the windshield and it stops a lot of the heat. I am going to use 303 Nano-graphene, the next generation of ceramic coatings.
Has anyone coated their windshield? Did it noticeably lower the heat transfer from the glass?

I had a ceramic coating put on my windshield last year. I did not notice any difference in heat. However, it did make a huge difference in how clean the windshield remained. I would it done again for that reason.

I had my coach detailed and ceramic coated. It is a 2008 and it looks like it rolled off the show room floor. Washing is a breeze as the water just runs off the sides and windows. I had the windows, rims, head and tail lights all coated.

Tim, that is quite a shine! Did you clay bar, polish, or anything before applying?

Onrecess,
I had the coach detailed 4 years ago. The detailers wanted to do a polish job on the coach, it was another $1000 dollars! I said just prep as normal and install the ceramic. If you look at it under fluorescent lighting at the right angle you can see some defects, but you have to look. In the sun it is incredible! I am really happy with the results. It cost me $1500 to have it done and I feel it was well worth the money.

I did the clay bar & ceramic polish on our 12 year old car. It still has the paint nicks but the shine is great. The clay bar wasn't too much work. The 3 coats of ceramic polish was.

I got some 303 nano graphite, Going to give it a try. I am off to get my slide rams, (which took HWH 4 months!), installed, and I'm going to have it detailed when I get back. I will take before after pics. Thanks.
