Anyone used Batteries Express Inc?

I just ordered two Interstate 31-MHD coach batteries from Batteries Express Inc.
The deal is you order from them and pick up at you local Interstate Battery distributor. The price is better than any local dealer I could find and you avoid the tax. Total savings about $60 for the two. Has anyone else used these folks? Am I in for a surprise when I go to swap out my batteries at the distributor tomorrow?

Same here, let us know how it all works.

I'm in the market for new batteries (coach and house - all six.) These guys are near me, in fact I'm going to be running an errand tomorrow that's only a block away from them. I'll stop in and see what they have to offer.

Of course, walking in the door, I'm sure I'm not going to be able to get them tax-free...

Maybe not paying shipping charges will help make up for that? They didn't charge you tax, but are they charging shipping? (Batteries are heavy, shipping can't be cheap.)

Batteries Express Inc emailed the purchase order to me as well as to the Interstate distributor this morning. About an hour later I picked the new batteries up, leaving my old cores. No surprises or extra cost. Since I live in Alabama and bought the batteries through a New York company there was no tax. And since I picked them up at our local Interstate distributor there was no shipping charge. The distributor seemed quite pleased to handle the tranaction.
And the batteries date codes were A15 (this month).

I ordered 4 T105's from them. They told me I could pick them up in an hour at Continental Batteries in Dallas (about 45 minutes away). So I drove down with my cores in the trunk, identified myself, they wheeled out 4 brand new and current dated T105's, took the old cores out of the trunk, put the new ones in, gave me a receipt for warranty purposes and I was on my way.

Perfectly happy with their service.
