Anyone with experience selling or buying Monaco Sig online?

Need some suggestions on how and where to sell my 2008 Monaco Signature online. I have listed here in classifieds. [Mod Edit]
I really need to get this coach sold this year and all suggestions would be appreciated.

Send a message via ICQ to Ivylog
In a March I bought a 08 Navigator with $50K in additional options (making it on par with a Sig) and 42K miles for $165K. NADA low retail is well over $225K.

It was at a small consignment dealer in Messa that I would not recommend and had been for sale for months at over $220K.

I would suggest putting it on EBay for good exposure as they never actually sell there so no sales expense.

Motorhomes of Texas consignment lot. First class operation and usually moves rigs in 90 days. Of course they get their cut but no worries for the seller.

Run ads on RVT.com, RVTrader.com, eBay, and the classified section of this forum.
Most important! Make sure there are lots (50 or more) of high quality pictures. Arrange them in a logical order. Write up a good description and have someone check it.
Last is pricing. Look at NADA bluebook and do searches on the same web sites and rank order by price to see where you fit in. Remember, dealers are allowing extra for a trade in and you are not a dealer.

RVtrader.com is what I used

RVtrader.com is what I used to buy my monaco a year ago. Easy for me to search. I would also recommend ebay and making a you tube video. Walk arounds are always helpful.

If you decide not to try and sell it yourself, I would also recommend Motorhomes of Texas for consignment.

We listed our 2008 Monaco Dynasty with them in the summer of 2014 as our new coach was on order. It took 90 days to sell and they charged an 8% commission. It was worth every penny for them to take care of the sale.

They request that you leave it with a full tank of fuel and then they 'detail' the whole coach and make a video for their website. Very smooth operation.

We had to get additional insurance through our carrier for a consignment sale. As I recall it was $1,200 for six months and we got a refund for the remainder when we sold it in 3 months.

We were members of the 'two-bus-club' for about 2 weeks as the new coach arrived just before we sold the Dynasty.

Good luck!
Mark
