Aqua hot

I have been full timing for two years and I have a 2008 Dynasty with the larger Aqua hot system that has two electric elements and I use them 95 % of the time. The previous 4 years were hardly used at all. How often should these elements be changed. I do use the Diesel to heat up once in a while to exercise the unit.

According to the Aqua Hot guru, they very seldom go bad. Just have to keep the diesel side serviced (fuel filter, nozzle & chamber cleaning). Randy

When they burn out would be my answer. I know the diesel burner needs servicing once a year.

They recomend you run the diesel thru a cycle or two, at least monthly.

Ha, having just changed an element 2 weeks ago that had burned out, I TOTALLY agree with Mr D on that one! What a job! Elements are not a maintenance item, they are a repair item. If it ain't broke....
