Aqua Hot Help

I have an Aqua Hot AHE-100 that is giving me fits. What I want to find is a GOOD Aqua Hot service shop in California. We have had it looked at 2 or 3 times in the last 3/4 years by Expert tec. and major coach dealers. Enough said. Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated

The last time I looked, the AquaHot website listed service providers across the country. Also, there are a couple of guys that travel around and do AH service, but I don't think that either are in California. I'm thinking of Roger Berke or John Carillo. You can find either or both of them by Googling their names. Maybe a phone call to one of them would help get you on track.

Also, there is a huge amount of AH talent on this forum. If you tell us what is going on, some of us may be able to get you going without a huge hassle. I'm not sure that a lot of coach service outfits are all that competent with specialized systems like the AquaHot systems.

After tearing mine apart and rebuilding it, there isn't really that much to them.

What sorts of issues are you having? There is a lot of knowledge in the forum that may be able to assist you.

Roger Burke, near Sacramento, is the go-to guy for parts, service, and referrals on AquaHot and other hydronic heating systems. He maintains a forum that is very informative.

Thanks for the replies. I read about ever post about Aqua Hots as this has been an issue for several years. #1 will start on diesel 75% of the time when it does not all zone pumps start and run. We use it most of the time for for hot water and on some cold nights for heat, When hooked to electricity it seems like it works at a better % of the time. When running on diesel, runs good & burns clean. Last suggestion was to have multiplex checked, also switches that seem to fail part of time. I just want to get it fixed but dont know where to go contacted A/H & they sent me to local service center been there 3 years ago no thanks

You're in Fresno? Did you have your work done by Roger? I have no experience with his work but he's considered one the Hydronic Gurus of the west coast. If he failed to correct your problems I'm not sure who can help you.

FWIW it sounds like you have a controller issue, which most likely means wiring; have you have rodent intrusion to the chassis or bays?
