Aqua Hot not running cool down cycle

My Aqua Hot is not running the cool down cycle.
Anyone know where to start looking why?

Tim

Update:
It runs the cool down cycle if I leave it alone. If I shut it off while it's running it shuts down in a couple seconds after I flip the switch to off.

So, it was still burning when you flipped the switch off, and it shut down immediately?

Could you have flipped switch off when it was already in cool down stage.

That was my thought. Maybe it was just about to shut down.

Not positive, I will have to go out and check the exhaust for a test. Thank You,
It's happened a few times, so that's why I was asking. I will test it tomorrow.

Yeah, flip the switch off shortly after you hear the fuel hit the igniter. See if it will repeat.
I know in mine, unless it's dead silent, no tv or radio, it's pretty hard to tell when your inside, whether it's burning, or just the exhaust fan running.

Hmm.

Looks like you may be shopping for a new controller in the near future.

Can you or anybody confirm turning off AH switch, does actually run a cool down cycle or does it stop everything. I have never checked. I 'll test mine this week to see.

The manual states it runs a 2-3 min cool down (fan running) cycle after shut down. Going to change my control today and try it again.

UPDATE:

I'm so glad I kept my original controller for the aqua hot. The rebuilt one I bought last May was the problem. The cool down cycle runs as it should now. All of the questions and trouble shooting I did last year pointed to the controller so I bought one from RV Hydronic Heater Repair. (most likely my error)

As you can see it only has a 6 month warranty. I will look into getting it repaired so I have a backup.
