Aqua Hot Switch Replacement

I have a rocker switch mounted on the kitchen cabinet that turns on the elec Aqua hot. The switch works but the little light doesn't which is problematic when you wish to make sure you've turned it off. Is there a way to replace the light itself (a diode) or does the entire switch need replaced? If so, any idea where a person could find one?

Thanks, Ed

I got mine through Roger Berke also but after replacing it I'm not sure I would again. Mine was difficult to gain access to from where it is installed in a panel with other switches. It's kind of bright, it cost $40, and it will probably burn out again since it on all the time. You can disassemble the switch and possibly replace just the bulb. Maybe with LED? Maybe I'll experiment with the one I took out.

The bulb can be replaced. It's kind of tight inside the switch so I drilled two small (1/16") holes in the bottom of the switch body and passed the new bulb leads through those and soldered to the terminals on the outside of the switch. Much easier. Bulbs are available at Radio Shack.

My light in the switch had burned out as well. I took the switch apart and
installed a new led and it is still working.
IIRC the new led had to have long leads on it to route around inside the switch to the connections.
Iver.
