Aqua Hot Water

I think it's called Aqua Hot water system. Is it something a do it your selfer can install or replace with the original water heater. My water heater still works good but I heard Aqua Hot works better and you don't run out of hot water.
2003 HR Imperial 40 PST 400 cumming 40,000 miles.I would love to post a picture of my coach, but I still can't figure it out.
We love our HR and we love this forum.
Happy Holidays

Aqua-Hot is point-of-use (on-demand) system that uses the coach's diesel fuel ignited in a burner to heat the water. It has multiple water lines running to different locations in the coach (under floor) to provide room heating and hot water to all your fixtures. http://www.aquahot.com/products/rv.aspx

It would not be easy to add this system to a coach that did not already have it. If you just wanted the water heating function, you could probably install the Aqua-Hot unit (If you have a compartment big enough. This unit is not supposed to be in shared space) and run your fuel lines to it, then tie in one electrical switch to turn it on/off. Then run your water lines for bath and sinks to it. I'm just not sure its worth that much effort.

Check out their website - maybe they have a similar unit more designed for what your wanting to do.

It would cost a fortune to do this for the parts and labor. If you want a coach with a AquaHot, buy one with it installed.

Listen to Mike , it would be more work than I can even imagine .
Aquahot is not just a water heater it is also my heater for the coach interior .

I have seem advertised tankless on demand water heaters for R/Vs
much like the home types .
Here's a link to one , I believe it will fit right where the old one is .
