I've turned the diesel switch on a number of times through this process. When I removed the motor there was really no raw unburned fuel on the nozzle area or in the burner tube.
It's possible there's no fuel flow.

Hmmm.. Pump, Filter or kinked lines?

New filter and no kinked lines that I could find. A pump perhaps.

Someone recently had a bad pre pump check valve problem issue . It was stuck solid 100psi wouldn't barely budge it. These were dropped by manufacturer, he was told he could replace or eliminate it by one of main repair guys. I believe there is a solenoid vale as well that has to open. Usually they leaky and cause some excessive smoking at start up.
I would be careful and check any issue with spark gap there is a cheap tapping tool that can be had. A way to damage any ignition coil or electronic ignition is not give it a path to jump ground and keep firing it . Shorting direct to ground will stop ignition/combustion but not harm a coil.

If it was running fine when he put it away for the winter, can't see the igniter gap changing while it sat.
Like Ray mentioned, you sure you have enough fuel in your tank?

I checked the igniter gap and it was good.
As far as fuel level goes I actually haven't checked that yet but I always store it with full fuel. The storage lot is locked at night and I didn't notice my locking fuel tank access doors out of place. However it's not beyond the possibility that someone stole my fuel. I'll check that.

Be sure to check fluid level, it will not start if it is low. I had a broken hose from expansion tank. Would not start. Replaced hose added fluid to aqua hot toke right off.

Hmmm...I didn't think to consider that but will check that too. I was pretty much in the aquahot when servicing it..didn't see any fluid around the area.

On my Windsor the drivers side bay door lifts up just like all the others
so they wouldn't need to mess with the small locking fuel door .
Someone with a diesel PU could have filled up several times .
Wouldn't it be nice if low fuel was the problem ?
Good luck and keep us informed .

It would have been nice if that had been the issue but unfortunately I'm not the lucky. Although $500 worth of fuel stolen would have not been so lucky either.

Yes double check fuses.
I had to track one all the way back to the rear run bay.
