AquaHot question?
2007 Executive, I am new to aquahot, is it possible to have the fan on the a/c running while the aquahot Is heating. I have found in my previous unit that the recirculating of the warmer air at the ceiling provided a much more balanced heat.

Maybe, if you have more than one thermostat controlling different zones.
I only have one thermostat for 3 zones, so no HP fans running at the same time as asking for Aquahot heat.

Hi, "Toter"
If your '07 Exec is like our '06 Dynasty, and I'm pretty sure that it is, the short answer is "no". You CAN put the rear thermostat in "FAN" mode and the front thermostat in "HEAT" mode, or vice versa, and you will get some circulation, but you can't have the fan operating while you are heating with the AquaHot, on the same thermostat. You can only select "OFF", "FAN", "COOL", "HEAT PUMP", "HEAT" or "FURNACE" for the modes. I think it says "HEAT" instead of "FURNACE" if you have the AquaHot like you and we have, but I frankly don't remember. I just do it and don't think about it. Dang memory!! And there's no way to mix and match.
You probably already know this, but on your rear thermostat, zone 2 rules the roost. Whatever mode you select for zone 2 will be the only mode that will function on zone 2 AND zone 1. In other words, you can't run the fan or the AC in the bedroom while you have the "HEAT" on in for bathroom.
Also, they put the temperature sensor for the zone 2 heat pump in the bathroom that is only served on our coach by a single outlet in the closed bathroom area. That is not a very effective control system for that pump, particularly if the bathroom door is kept closed. Poor thinking by Monaco. It's great for operating on the AquaHot, but lousy for controlling the middle heat pump.
I still wouldn't trade the AquaHot system for anything else. They really are pretty great, in my book.
Enjoy your new to you coach, she's a beauty, no doubt, and a truly high value coach!!

I think I'm happy to have four separate independant thermostats . Two for AH two for AC/Heat strips . Plus one in basement and yet another for whole house fan.

Well, it is handy having all zones tied to one thermostat (with well placed remote temp sensors), but the drawback is, you can't do what Harleytoter would like to do.

Why? I think you’ll find the AH kicks it out just fine, once you get the settings right. Plus the AH is nice and quiet.

I love the hum of the fans. What would you say the diesel burn rate is?

On my 100 AHE, spread over 24 hours in 30 degree weather, less than 0.5 gallons an hour.

The burner nozzle is rated for .35 gal/hour on ours. However, nozzles are rated at 100PSI and the AH runs at 145PSI (much like my furnace at home), which increases the flow rate by about 10% to .385 gal/hour. So whatever the burner's duty cycle is times .385 gal/hour is what we should be using when the heat is on. The duty cycle here is the amount of time the burner is on, not the time the blower is on.
We have a 450, but you should be able to find out the nozzle size for the model you have.

Mistake, meant 1/2 gallon a day.
