ATS dash light

I noticed yesterday that the ATS light on the dash is constantly on. What does it mean? It is on a 2004 Monaco Diplomat. Thanks

Is the light possibly ABS rather than ATS? The ABS system on my 2000 Beaver was forever ruining sensors at several hundred $$ each. I finally decided that I was quite competent to drive it without ABS and have done so for the past 30,000 miles.

Do you mean ATC or ABS? If ATC, when the transmission detects that the engine isn't generating the proper amount of power for the throttle position under load, the transmission will turn off the Automatic Traction Control System and turn on the ATC light. In most cases, changing the engine fuel filters will solve the problem. If, you mean ABS, you likely have a wheel sensor issue.

Sorry for a long delay in response. It is the ATC, not the ABS light. I did a little research and found out that when an emissions test is performed the ATC must be turned off. I had to have an emissions test done, and after about 30 minutes of driving, that's when I noticed the ATC light on.I called the test center and their response was that it should of gone off within a couple of minutes. The manual states that turn on ignition, apply the service brake and it should go out. I have tried that with no luck. So I guess that my next move is to replace the fuel filters. That could take me a couple of weeks to get the filters.
Thanks for all the feedback
