Auto gen start

I have a 2003 imperial* I was testing my inverter charger auto gen start and when I get below 12 volts when the gen is supposed start I get a pending genstart message on my remote but no start. Any ideas

Too low a voltage setting, try changing the start voltage to 12.2 or 12.3. Mine is set for 12.3 now with the new inverter and control panel.

Trying to figure out why mine wouldn't auto start, have to set the clock so it will avoid the "quiet time" auto running.

Also, on a side note, the generator may shut off when the auto off set point is reached if turning it on by the generator button, however if you turn it on with the inverter control panel it runs until you turn it off.

At least that's the way it seems to run for me.

Ditto - too low battery setting...

If you manually override the Gen start, you have disabled the AGS...


Love our AGS... it is set enabled ALL the time in case of a power failure at storage area.

Clean your grounds and connections from the battery. Once I did that it starts to around 11.5 volts.

Had the same problem while testing mine a few years ago.
Grabbed my multimeter, and discovered they had wired the voltage sensing wire on the AGS module, to a chassis battery supply !
