Aux Air pump Relocate

This is the Bay behind the Rt Front Wheel. I have a Mid Door model Dynasty. This took about 3 hours, mostly because I'm slow.

Jim,
I like your idea. Was the original location on the drivers side near the front air tank? I have a 2000 Windsor with the Mid door, HWH air leveling, and my Air Compressor motor is locked up due to being exposed to the elements.

It was the passenger side, just forward of the bay, behind the air tank. The exposure problem has been solved by others building a cover. I think this is a better environment for the pump with the added benefit of easier access.

Thank you.

If it is I can't tell. Of course 34 years of flying jets leaves me less capable that way. The wife says its the same.

I bought some sound isolation grommets and mounted it on springs, that helps, too. I will get a picture later later, we are in the midst of a monsoon today.

One of the reasons I decided to stay with the Thomas is because the it is rated much lower in Db than the Viair.

There is a pump rebuild kit. That is all I've found. I bought my used pump complete off of ebay for less.

Check out ZORO Tool. I bought a new replacement compressor, same brand and model number, there for a lot less. They also have a rebuild kit. I would think the new compressor is the way to go. Hope this may help, have a great day. Bert
