My experience with an A&E WeatherPro tells me to advise you to keep the manual awning. YMMV though. Ours works great now after a few $$ to fix and since it extends over a slide out there are not many choices. The old fashion one on the class C we had always worked.

2 years ago I switched ours over. I think I used the Traveler arm kit. It works great and wasn't hard to set up. I used our MH Port Roof to tie the awning up while I switched out the arms so I didn't have to remove the whole awning. A pair of ladders would have worked as well. I got the arms with the slope built in so water wouldn't puddle.
Good luck!
