Basement Lift cylinder

I have a 2001 Monaco Diplomat that needs new lift cylinders and can’t figure out how many lbs it should be. I was told 40 lbs so bought some and there to weak. Tried going of the number on the old ones and can’t seem to find them. I know there about 20 inches and don’t want to go to 100 lbs because that would probably create problems and 40 isn’t enough. Pics of old one added

If the 0370N is 370 Newton's, that is approx 83 lbs force.
Many of the gas strut companies have charts showing length, force and end mount.
I sourced sourced some for a different project from this company

I have a 38 foot 2001 diplomat and for the big doors I used 100 and smaller doors 80. I don' think 100 should cause any issue even on smaller doors. Beats getting hit on the head. Luck

Be careful not to use a lift with more force than necessary. It puts a lot of strain on the hinge brackets. Found that out the hard way and had to rebuild most of mine.
