And that is the proper way to do it.

I think I said earlier.. It is amazing the number of RVers who don't even know WHERE the batteries are located in their rig. Let alone how to check 'em and water 'em

Within several months of getting our coach I bought a Charge Wizard that fit into the converter. I also added two more 6 volt batteries. We're starting in the tenth year on those same batteries. When we are home the motor home is always plugged in so the Charge Wizard is cycling the batteries. I've always added water (not necessarily distilled) in the spring, mid summer, and in the fall when winterizing.

This coming spring I plan on checking the voltage of each battery. Who knows, the whole bank may be replaced.

Batteries ???

Probably get some feed back from this one, but it works for me -- My batteries are 3 years old, & when they first needed water, I used about 2 ounces of Mineral Oil in each cell -- Haven`t had to add water since, & I live in toasty AZ. -- Bill Willard
