The inverter/charger charges the house batteries on shore power.

The maintainer takes voltage off the " charging " house batteries and sends it to the chassis battery.

The larger blue isolator in the top of your picture splits the alternator output and charges both your chassis battery and charges your house batteries when the engine is running.
Worded poorly, that''s what I mean to say.

BTW my 03 Windsor has the same Lambert device

IIRCC Mr Lambert died some time ago so the company was gone for awhile
Then some family member started the company back up and was manufacturing
them again but I don't know if they are still in business or not .

It just stays that way. I think its sealed pretty good because I haven't cleaned it in years.

So it looks like the 01's and the 03's (at least the Windsor's) have the maintainer, and of course Dennis's 00 dynasty. We haven't heard back from the OP to see if his 04 windsor has it. My 06 does not have it, so for whatever reason, monaco stopped installing them at some point.

Dennis you shame us. What a sight to behold. Now that is the way to maintain things. My hats are all off to you.
