Battery charging system in '07 Knight DFT

I've isolated my engine battery charging problem to a faulty solenoid. I wish to replace it with a better one. Might someone be able to recommend a new improved product over the failed factory installed unit?

Ps. Someone suggested I need to find out if the charging system solenoid is a BIRD or a BIM. Does this make sense to anyone?

I just changed my faulty battery isolater solenoid Trombella 114-1211-010 with a Trombella 114-1211-020. The original ....010 has copper contacts and the new one .....020 has silver contacts which they say will last longer. They are both the same price. Just google the brand and number and a bunch of suppliers will pop up. Now my chassis batterys stay charged again and the alternator charges the house batteries again while traveling. Hope this helps.

I have a 2008 Knight DFT when my solenoid was acting up I drilled out the rivets cleaned the contacts put tune up gel on contacts resealed and bolted back together.. That was 4 years ago no problem since. that is if it the contacts that are the problem and not some other issue with the solenoid
