Find a good ground for your meter or test light. Also touch the mounting tab below the purple wire to see if there is voltage on it. There should not be. Without seeing another connection it is likely being grounded through that tab. If the ground is bad there could be voltage showing on that tab.
I cannot assume that is the salesman solenoid but with the purple wire it is an indicator to me that it is either that or the aux start function solenoid.
If there is no voltage on the purple wire, push the emergency start button and see if the solenoid activates.
You can use a light jumper from the purple wire to which ever post has battery voltage on it to engage the solenoid as a test.

Well My 05 has a totally different looking salesman switch and it is in the bay left and down from the driver's seat, where as my battery boost switch is back in the Right 2nd from the Rear bay on the wall above the batteries.
Oh and the cables to my salesman relay are only 4 or 6 GA whereas the battery boost cables are 2-O.
I am guessing here but "ASSUMING" that is the salesman switch, and when you turn on in the house, the purple wire has no power I am then guessing your problem is not that relay, but in the line that activates it, If it is, on the other hand, the battery boost then go back to the suggestion of trying the boost button and see if that actuates this relay
