Beaver Brake System Help

My friend has a 2003 Beaver Contessa, and the manifold between the air and hydraulics is bad, Beaver doesn't have the part and can't say where to get one. Any ideas out there????? The symptom is braking on the front wheels and not on the back. Not a good scenario.

Are you saying that the Beaver has air over hydraulic brakes??? Sounds unusual for a 2003. The only MH I have ver seen with that setup is an Alpine.

If the OP has that type of brake system he needs to know who made the system. Could be Bendix or? The componenst were not made by Monaco and are usually off the shelf parts. I am not too familair with those brakes but if this manifold is bad there must be something on the casting that gives you a clue. Who is doing the repair? A competent truck repair shop would know where to get the parts. Monaco should be able to access the build sheet and give you a manufacturers part#. The Monaco tech people are amazing!!

Thumbs up

thanks you guys for weighing in, I was off one year, 2002 Contessa, yes Hydraulic over air, and the truck center agrees, very unusual. They called Monaco and couldn't get much help.

Today they took the valve to Seattle Brake and Clutch, the guys there benched tested and said it was working, now checking the toad air line and for a hydraulic leak somewhere. The RV is at a truck center in Seattle. The search continues.

Thanks for your thoughts.
