Beaver Monterey owner - which sub model?

I am confident that one of you folks can end the confusion.

I have a 36' Beaver Monterey. Based on the previous owner's information, I had assumed for some time that this was a Laguna sub model, but having reviewed the 2005 brochure, the only 36' Monterey model is the Ventura. All Laguna models appear in 40' configurations. Of course, MH builders may have changed line ups between printing brochures and manufacture of actual coaches. The coach's RV Data Card is no help. I now believe my coach to be the Ventura sub model. Your thoughts? Thanks much.

Hi Sandy, my instinct is to whip out a tape measure and confirm the length once and for all .

In some years Beaver and even Monaco named their floor plans (not so much a sub model per say). The Roman numeral denoted the number of slides. Does your actual floor plan layout and length match the 36’ Ventrua or 40’ Laguna more closely? Comparing them at a glance it seems there are some distinct differences that would help differentiate them. For example, the shower is on the opposite side of the coach in the two floor plans. Which side of the coach is yours on?

All the best,
Josh

Thanks for your response, Josh.
The shower in ours is on the passenger's side. Our coach is definitely not 40' and the floor plan for the Ventura is near match for our coach. Therefore, I am henceforth assuming that ours is a Ventura IV (it has 4 slides).

I just wanted to nail this down as we have placed the coach up for sale.

My pleasure! Looks like you got it figured out.

All the best with your sale. Beaver Monterey is a beautiful coach.
