Beaver Patriot wax valve

Hey everyone. We have a 97 Beaver Patriot with the 330hp CAT and a side radiator. It seems that our hydraulic fan runs at high speed all the time and from what I've read, the probable culprit is that the wax valve has failed. I have located it in the system but I cannot read any manufacturer or part number to source a replacement. Does anyone know what part number was used back then? Or where to locate one? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

I think before you order new wax valve, you should read up some older posts. Trying to remember if temp switch over rides wax valve to high speed, As well some others found contamination from oil in splitter to power steering or wax valve put it into high only. Also remember hoses hooked up backwards caused high only , of course it didn't just happen/start .
Some tid bits about orifice size and drilling it to adjust constant speed at cool engine for those with AC cond. in stack.

My 1998 Monaco (RIP) came to us with a restrictor on one of the hydraulic lines going to the fan motor. Based on advice from Source Engineering, I found a small adapter on the line, which was to reduce the flow and make the fan run faster. Like 153 said, it was to reduce air conditioner head pressure.

I removed the restrictor, drilled it out, and all was good. Word is that the wax valves rarely go bad. It is easy to remove it, and bench test it with a heat source.

I think I did a write-up on my adventure - probably on the forum here somewhere.

Back in 2015 I was having trouble with my fan running WAO after the radiator was changed.
I contacted Moncao tech support and they had me do two tests.
Test 1 was remove both lines and plug them, the fan ran wide open.
Test 2 was to put a union between both lines, the fan ran at idle.

Based on this they said the fan controller was working as designed and said the thermovalve was bad. I did replace but when I took the old one off I ended up finding a piece of rag in it, which was probably causing my problem.

I bought my thermovavle from White House Products in the UK, even with the exchange rate and shipping it was much cheaper then any place else.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I'll go ahead and do some more testing before I just start replacing stuff.
