Bed frame roller damage/wood chips

Good morning fellow Monaco owners. After installing my Guardian Plates on the outside of the bedroom slide, I decided to check out the rollers under the bed frame to check out their condition. I found wood chips on the carpet and felt under the frame and sure enough, the rollers are eating into the wood that rides on top of them.
The rollers are the same as on the outside (one assembly with two small rollers). But, the inside roller on each assembly does nothing. As in the bed frame does not cover the roller. I'll try to get a picture to add.

I have read on this forum about another owner strengthening/reinforcing his bed frame. Maybe adding some plates similar to Guardian Plates for the bed to ride on.
After hours using the search function, I can't seem to find the post that I read some time ago.

Has anyone else fixed this problem, or can direct my to the post that I read.

Thank you in advance for any help. Dave

Here's the pics. Doesn't look like there is any easy way to remove the bed frame without a very involved project. I have a trip coming up very soon. I've emptied the under bed storage for the time being.

There are several threads on this. I 'think ' the search feature actually works in a browser or a computer. Using the app...pretty much worthless. I couldn't find it either using the app.
Remove the bed, disassemble install plates. If you have materials ready. It takes about 1 day.

After fixing the wood and installing the stainless plates I moved the rollers out 1 inch on each side. Bed frame has much more strength near the outer edge.

Thank you for the replies. Looks like I have a new project to tackle when we return.
What kind and thickness of plates did you guys use?
Where did you source them?
How did you attach them?

I'm pretty sure Perry posted his fix (with pic's), in the Quick Tip's & Easy mod's thread.
It's a long thread now ....... may take some searching !

TJDave-

Here's a link to a post (with a picture) I made for our 2008 Admiral. If you need details, feel free to send a private message with your contact info.

I did not remove the bed frame, but from what I've read it's not as difficult as it appears. I think I've been about 75 percent there on at least one occasion.

P.S.- I noticed in the picture that I didn't install that bracket so it was square. I hate it when I do that.

Thank you for the pics and the links gentlemen. I know what I have to do when I have the time to tear the bed apart!
I can't believe the way mine was put together: Two thin strips of 3/4" plywood stapled to the bed frame. Not even wide enough to utilize both wheels on the rollers. WTH?

I'll be replacing the gouged 3/4" plywood strips with 6" wide 3/4" lumber. Plating underneath for both rollers to slide on, then some brackets topside for extra reinforcement.

That's the plan anyway!
