If my memory is clear, the FLA state said our 42' Monaco Executive with a Tag Axle was considered a "coach" rather than a motorhome, and consequently we saved one of the state's fees, since it was considered more of a "home" with the tag axle...I didn't argue, and saved around $200 when buying my tags and registering the title in FL.

I've since called it a coach...

I don't know about a Monaco, but on my Tiffin they are connected to the dash radio.

Jeff753......On my Monaco, the bedroom speakers are connected to the dash stereo. If yours aren't working, try adjusting the fade on your dash radio to the rear.

I also have a switch in the bedroom, in an opening in the small nightstand cutout that turns my dash radio on from the bedroom.

Our 2000 Monaco LaPalma has two bedroom speakers that are controlled by the dash radio fader button. When we got it we didn't know how to turn them down (or off). Folks here solved that problem for me. As they have many others.

My 2001 Diplomat has bedroom speakers controlled by the dash radio, also in the bedroom is a switch near the bed that turns it on or off.

On my 1998 Dynasty they are hooked to the dash radio. In fact all the ceiling speakers in my motorhome are hooked to the dash radio.

Dynasty ceiling speakers

Thanks for the info. I never have got my dash radio to utter a sound. I see the equalizer light flashing. Have to trace that out. There is a black switch box in the overhead that says DVD / DASH. I believe it has a coax connection and a red/white analog. The analog probably goes to the ceiling speakers and it is not plugged in.
