Post Beede Gauges and Cummins sending units

Hi Folks, I’m new to the group, and new to the Monaco coach, just purchased a 06 Diplomat 52k miles, Cummins 400 ISL. I noticed the Beede Gauges seem inaccurate, oil pressure is on the lower portion of the scale (just above 1/4 when cold) and the coolant temp high reading below 3/4 when driving. I measured Oil pressure at 80psi with a mechanical gauge, and 165 -180deg on the coolant temp. I’ve contacted Cummins, Beede, and Monaco, no one can give me clear specs of the sending units. Cummins said anything above 18psi at idle when hot is ok. The oil sending unit is a VDO 0-10 bar which is a 0-148psi. The temp sending unit is 0-120c which tells me 240deg F. Beede did send me the graph vs. resistance for temp but no spec on the gauges.
Trans temp also reads really low, barely moves off the bottom of the scale while driving, only moves at idle and backing in the driveway.

Has anyone had this problem with inaccurate gauges ?
Any idea on what the scale on the gauges ??
Thanks for any answers or support,
Tony

We would recommend connecting a ScanGauge D and not relying on the analog gauges to tell the truth.

I don't rely on the gauges either. If you don't have the Aladdin system (guessing you don't), another option is the silverleaf system

Update

I received my ScanGauge D today and yes it is much more accurate than my analog gauges. I appreciate the replies which led me to the ScanGauge.

Thanks again !!!

I had a similar problem, and the ScanGauge "Fix" works great. Also, much less expensive.
