We just replaced all the blinds in our motorhome. The ones that came with the coach were true day/night shades and had the strings for tension. Probably great when new but, like everything else, they wear out. Rather than replace in kind we went to Home Depot and ordered MyBlinds that have a latch in the center of the blind that keeps them in whatever position you set them in. Our coach has some different window shapes (wide short windows, narrow tall windows, etc.). We re-placed all nine window blinds for less than $1000. They may not last as long as the original blinds but ease of use is so much better! They are not day/night but we always had the blinds either open or closed, anyway. If you watch the big box stores they have sales quite often.

I replaced two of mine with shades from Blinds.com. They custom cut them. There are various options from roller to pleated. Check the space you have in the valances so you know how much room you have for the head rails or rollers. There are more expensive options from MCD shades which are quite nice but pricey if you do an entire coach.

Can’t provide a link because the Home Depot website doesn’t get too specific. Best just to go to the store and look at the selection. Lots of colors available. We went with the 3/4” cell room darkening shade. They are custom made to your exact width and length. Like most things the first one you install is the hardest. We had changed the shades in a Southwind coach we had before this one so we had some practice. Tried restringing and found replacing with cellular shades a much better option. MyBlinds are made to order in California. Home Depot will let you borrow the book so you can get just the right color.

I'm ordering these in the next couple of days. I got a coupon from HD for 10% off any purchase through June 23.
