BlueFire monitoring system question

I am starting to use the BlueFire engine monitoring system on my 08 Monaco Camelot. Just made a custom dash on my iPad Pro with the exhaust temperature gauge. I can’t get the system to read the exhaust temp. Any of you other Monaco owners using this system and able to get an exhaust temp reading ??

Hi Gnlandrus; I have a friend with an 05 Camelot. He has the Blue Fire system. He also had an exhaust temp. gauge added a number of years before he got his Blue Fire. Just recently he showed me the readouts on his I-Pad and I don't remember seeing the exhaust temp. readings. Did your 08 come with the exhaust temp. gauge from the factory or was it added? I think the Blue Fire system gets it's info from the diagnostic port like my Silver Leaf system. If the engine ECM is not programed to read the exhaust temp. and that gauge was added and is not connected to the engine ECM, my guess this is why you cannot see anything on your Blue Fire. I am just guessing on this. I know you get good support from Blue Fire. Have you contacted them? Hope this info is useful.

Watching this as I would love to have EGT, but couldn't find it when I set up my VMSpc stuff. I believe if it's not coming from the ECM, neither VMSpc nor BlueFire will read it. Hope I'm wrong, tho.

Yeah, well I guess the ECM isn’t sending the information. Will have to do some kind of work around like installing a separate gauge to get the information.
Thanks guys !!!

To be certain, Greg, you could probably ask Silverleaf or the BlueFire guy (forget his name), they should have a listing of all possible parameters. It may be in there, I just never recalled seeing it anywhere.

I'll be looking over your shoulder on your progress, as I always wanted one but never got dedicated enough to just get busy and do it .
