Has anyone in the forum removed there Bosch stackable Axxis Dryer & Washer? Our washer is not spinning and Bosch tech support believes it is the brushes in the motor. Unsure how the dryer is attached to the washer and we also have a narrow hall. Reference 2006 Monaco Holiday Rambler navigator 45PBQ coach. We are in Quartzsite AZ for the winter months.

Not quite the same but I have a Windsor and the only way out for the washer or dryer was through the Bedroom escape window

Check your closet, there may be a removable panel that will give you access to the back of the washer/dryer to access the brackets that the article discusses.

One trick I learned when working on my stacked WD was to build a temp platform that will allow sliding the WD combo out of the closet. That provided EZ access to the plates that fasten them together. Once separated the D is fairly EZ to remove and place on the bed. In my case the W needed some parts replaced that could be accomplished by removing the top while still on the platform.
Once completed & tested the D was replaced & reattached and then the unit slid back into place.
In my case there was a plastic drip pan under the W but it was simply slid out and back to avoid having to lift the W.
My was such that a plastic crate with a couple layers of plywood ended up the correct height. I carry both so its EZ to set up any time it's needed.

It's been several years but the Bosch washer/dryer set was one of the best we've owned.
The dryer is 240v and the washer is 120v but plugs into the dryer.
I had to remove the closet doors first. Trying to remember, but I think there were a couple of L brackets that had to be removed. Then it slides out. The washer is very heavy. Then use a furniture dolly to slide them onto.
Hopefully you can repair it in the hall or the bedroom area as getting it up the entry stairs was tough!

Vito is real close on his info. Remove the doors and there is an L bracket on each side. A stubby screwdriver fit to get ours out. Once the dryer is part way out you can tip it forward and climb over and get to the plug and also the dryer vent hose. Ours came out into the hallway and then out the front door. We replaced it with another 220V apartment size dryer, GE from Lowes, and I wired in a 110 outlet for the Washer. If memory serves, I had to use the special outlet from the dryer for the washer power source. Hope this may help. Happy Trails Bert

Thank you Vito, as that all makes sense. The W/D is in the drivers side hall in front of the shower and aft of the refrigerator. Bosch is telling me I have either bad brushes or a defective motor. This as the machine will not agitate or spin.
