Brake Controller

I have a 1997 Monaco Executive, does anyone know if this coach is pre-wired for a brake controller?

Most of the pre 2000 coaches were not pre-wired for brake controllers

For diesel coaches, the trailer brake pre-wire didn't start until 2005 or 2006.
See post # 19 for details on our trailer brake controller install.

It's not hard to wire a brake controller in your coach. It is fairly easy. But it will take sometime and patience to hook up and run the wiring.

I did have a small plug up near pedals. IDK what tag # stands for. Or what it is for. There was a brake controller installed but they didn't use said plug. I did plan to ask what it was for someday. I was looking for ECM plug for Bluefire. I also have big bundle of spare wires. From center dash where I have a door to drivers side rear top frame rail. I used some of the for Bluesea MTL-ACR switch.Click image for larger version
