There should be a tag on the rear axle, you should be able to identify the axle. If you have the axle apart there should be casting numbers on the drums and probably the brake parts.
Post whatever information you get and someone may be able to help.

Thanks.
The rear axle housing is a Dana model 128720
Model ratio: 478. Differential Dana mod 19060S
I have not dismantled the drums and not checked the identification yet. Need to go to workshop to do and should have part available then.

I may not be much immediate help since I've not had to service mine yet, but my heavy truck mechanics didn't seem at all concerned about getting parts when they checked them for wear.
My point is that if you get them off and get some numbers the replacements should be readily available, just possibly not in Norway.

Are you sure the axle is a 19060S
Mine is a 190608
I have this in my files, I saved it thinking it was the same as mine but I have not had to replace any of my brake linings or drums, I have 117K miles on my rig.
Rear brake drums for a 2000 Monaco Dynasty 350 Cummins
1. American made drums WE56864B $104.88 each.
2. New Shoes not remans HV884709ES2J. $59.50 each set.
Lug Nut 13-3052 $4.50 each.
The shoes included new springs and roller sets. Total cost to have new rear brakes $360.75 including tax. The drums are Webb and the shoes are Haldex.

Thank you for valuable info. According to my Data Card my axle is Dans 19060S.
Engine is Cummins ISL 400, but that should have no impact on the brakes I believe.
I have some wear in the drum, maybe not to much needing replacement.
Do you have name and contact info for brake parts supply where I can order.
Thanks

You should have the brake drum measured with a special digital caliper. Maybe they are within spec.

I don't really have a source for brake parts, I inspect mine on a regular basis and to be honest, have not seen any significant wear in the ~14 years & 60K miles we've put on the coach, we have 117K miles on the odometer now. I use the PacBrake as much as possible, even to help slow the rig in the city approaching stop lights or slowing down.
Do a search on the IRV2 site for Moncao Dynasty Brakes and you might get the information you need.
I do know of another Dynasty owner, 2000 year, that did his own brakes. He was able to find the shoes at a local repair shop. He did have to replace the front drums, they were pricey but from what I've read the rears aren't as much.
Check with a local shop and see what they say and whether they have the ability to machine the drums if there is enough metal left.

The general condition of the brake shoes is pretty good. Only minor wear, but one of the shoes are worn to zero on one side, and has made some small groves in drum. Probably because of missaligment. Brake test will tell if new or mashining of drum is necessary.
Have checked with Find it Parts and they have brakeshoes and drum in stock. Brake shoes approx USD 100 set.

I am amazed, how you can own a Dynasty in Norway. From what I know, Europe is not very friendly on big American RVs.

Maybe you are surprised, but in reality there are a lot of US RVs in Europe an also in Scandinavia. Sweden has a couple of hundred from class C to A. Same in Norway, but only 10 ++ A class. The reason is mainly the lack of importers, but our insane fuel prices are a mai factor. And of course not to forget that only a minor part of our roads have high standard. Most of the goals are narrow roads with sharp bends and not the best pavements most of local and district roads only have one and a half widt. Not a dream for class A RVs. On the other hand, the nature where you can boondocking in the wild mountain and along all the fjords is unbelievable and fantastic. It pay for all the inconvenience.

Good that you’ve identified your parts. Just an FYI. There is a Monaco owners group at monacoers.org Many from that group are here also but there also are some that are not and there is a ton of knowledge, info, drawings etc there that specifically support older Monaco’s, HR’s and Beaver coaches.
Good luck with you brake repair.
