sheesh, Bill, I was just in that neck of the woods yesterday I could've taken the pic and said hello. If our new cabinet replacements come in soon, we'll be back down that way... we live in Cave Creek so we're not in the SE Valley that often.

Bil,
I was going to PM you, but couldn't figure it out. And, no, it's not because it is after 5:00.
PM me with your phone number, unless you can post it here. I don't remember the rules about phone numbers and email addreses.

I haven't had any problem with heat in the closet of my 2008 HR Scepter 40PDQ. I drove it through some very hot conditions last summer and would have felt it for sure. I think it is because Monaco changed the rear cap in 2008 on the Scepter. The 2008 rear cap looks like the he 2007/2008 Imperial rear cap. It is very different than the 2008 Camelot rear cap. I have had problems with the foil insulation above the engine coming loose. I keep using foil tape to tape it back up and have to agree that it doesn't last very long! I guess I will add it to the list (short thank goodness) for repairs at my dealer.

I don't ever recommend putting that info on the open forum, guys...happycarz & William Willard...I can email both of you (not a PM) if you two tell me that the information in your private file is correct. I will email the two of you with each others' info...

Ok, Bill. We will look at our schedule and see if we can get over there today or tomorrow and take the picture.
We are leaving Wed night for Bakersfield, CA but may have a few minutes to swing over the snap the pic to post.

OH yes, I do. Will have to do it in 2 weeks then. We are off to CA for dog show Wednesday night then I fly out to Ohio to drive my mom back to LA!! Not sure WHY she just won't fly out! She hates driving in Ohio so I can't imagine her wanting to drive in Los Angeles!!!!
We'll get that pic somehow.

Just wanted to say that after reading all the messages in this thread, I decided to make another stab at getting my "hot closet" problem resolved. I called my service people and they called Monaco and even though I am past warranty, they have autorized the 'vent' installation to correct the problem.
(Once again, IRV2 and Monaco pays off) Thanks everyone.......
