Camelot Entry Key Pad Programming
Hi all,
I just took deliver of a '09 Camelot and can not find instructions on how to program the keypad for door entry. Does anyone know what the master reset code is and how this keypad is programmed?
Thanks!

I'll check my manuals in the morning provided it's in there somewhere. When I picked up my coach, the factory rep was there to show me and the dealer how to program that pad but even he was having problems. There was a master code but it's been too long I can't recall what it is. I'll work on it in the morning.

On most of these systems, the master code is on the electronic unit.....Now where that is, I don't know. There were no tags on any of the keys?
Congratulations on your new coach!

Monty58,
You will find the manual somewhere on this page. You'll just have to match the manual to your system and download the correct one. The instructions vary from system to system, but they are all spelled out fairly well, if you find the correct manual. I'm guessing that an '09 coach may have a 500 series system (near the bottom of the page).

Monty, I checked my folder and manual but it only briefly mentions the keyless entry system. It says to call Monaco for the master reset code so good luck with that. I had the small manual for the system when I purchased my coach but the salesman said it was his so he took it GRRRRR .

A Member here KNOWS what the master code is-but that would be different on how to get in to reset it...wouldn't it?
I am trying to rack my brain as to who it is...but it is a member that I have met in person...It could be one of the following:
happycarz...psc907...Duffy's Dad....William Willard...
...or any other Camelot owner I have met...

Roger... the link you provided is for Schlage (which are home locks)...the link Robin M provided is for the door keypad manufacturer that Monaco uses...

Monty and Bob,
Revision to my earlier post... Go to this link. If you have an 07-09 Camelot, I'm pretty sure that you want to download either UM14 or UM13, depending on whether or not you have the grab-handle keypad. All the instructions and codes are there. There is more to the procedure than just punching in the authority code (which I am assuming is the "master code" you seek). Otherwise, anyone who had that code could get into your coach. You can also change the authority code.
I can't be 100% sure of the manual number, as I do not have a Camelot, but I'd bet money that it's one of those two.

Monty,
You're welcome. Enjoy that coach! You've got a beautiful one. The Camalot is my favorite of the entire Monaco line.
