Can you program vehicle remotes to Monaco products?
Most, if not all, Monacos use the TriMark system for keyless entry and locking. There is a video on how to program a new key fob to your existing Monaco system. Doesn't look too hard, at least on this video:

So I was thinking, my new Chevy toad has a builtin learning remote that can be taught to open garage doors etc. Wondering if anyone has tried to use a vehicle mounted remote control to control the Monaco door locks?

If they both operate on the same frequency it may be possible.

Well, it looks like the Trimark is 433.92mhz https://fccid.io/TV2ERX
This put me on the hunt for another fob also. Now I want to investigate what yo are talking about with the toad. Neat idea!

I don't think it can be done. Depending on several factors, the frequency use on garage door openers only reaches 400mhz.

I'd check with the folks in this post:
Universal Remote from Cruising For Remotes
If you have that "FCCID" number, it's possible that they have a remote that will work. I got one for my Essex system on my 2003 Windsor and it worked fine. It had additional buttons that my coach did not implement but they might be useful if you're trying to configure multiple functions on a single remote.
