Can't find brake controller prewire plug

Need to wire in a plug for my Takosha P3 brake controller. I called Monaco and was told that my 07 Endouver should have been prewired and that I will find the harness behind or under the dash in the area of the head light switch.

I have looked throughly under the dash and cannot find it. I am trying to avoid opening up the dash by removing the screws and lifting off the dash as that is a cluster of you know what under there.

Have any of you found yours and did you have to remove the entire dash to locate it. I did read on some older post that some found it behind an access panel. I do not have one and the only way to get behind the dash is to remove all the screws and lift it off with the speedo, tech, etc all attached.

Any help would appreciated.

Thanks

Greg:
I was told mine was under the dash as well, but no go. I was also told it could be tied to the steering column under the dash.
I found mine under the console below the driver’s side window. There is an access panel just to the left of your seat. Try there. If not, remove the panel on top of the console that holds the transmission selector. That is where I finally found mine. The wires should be marked.
Good luck.

After looking for about 4 hours, I just ran a new wire.

Mine also was in the left hand console to the left of the driver's seat.

What year did Monaco start adding the brake controller pre-wire?

Finally found the prewire. It was wrapped around the steering column behind the cover. Monaco said it should have been behind the dash close to the headlight switch or under the transmission contol buttons which it also was not.

Monaco started prewiring on 2006 units.

Hi, Looking for that plug in my 2006 endeavor but can't fine it. Is the plug a 5 or 6 wire? Will the wire have brake control on it?

The wires are white and are labeled. Mine had a plug installed on it for a brake controller but it did not fit the Takonsha controller. I cut the plug off and wire the pig tail for the Takonsha with but connectors.
