Carefree door awning

Does anyone know if a SIMU T3.5 CC motor will work in a Carefree Marquee door awning?

I think most of the problems have been gears stripping. Maybe a different model but there is a post showing how someone used a pulley wheel and cut notches in in.

The same thing happened to us and I did the pulley fix but had trouble with the limit adjustments and the mounting of the pulley. So the best fix is to buy a new motor.

Here's pic of the broken gear.

I think I had to fiddle with the limit adjustment a little, can't recall. I know it didn't take too long.

My new motor came with a special tool to adjust the limit switches. I believe it was just a long plastic dittle stick. Electronic techs know what those are.
