Carrier Air Conditioner

Hi Folks. Has any one had trouble with the carrier condensor fan on the upper unit of my air conditioner. The bearings on the front air were replaced and now the second unit is doing the same thing. Took the motor to the same repair shop and they say its shot.Carrier no longer makes air conditioners for RVs and i can not find the part anywhere. I tried grainger and other places with no luck. Both units are the 15000 BTU with heat pumps. Thanks for any help

First, Easton Electric Motors in Port Huron, MI can set you up with a replacement.

2nd I have a spare in my basement... If you are near Port Huron or Flint, MI any time soon, we can get together.

Gardner also has a compatable motor.. Alas I do not know the numbers.

Check with W.W. Grainger if you have one.

We've used some place in Tyler, TX to rebuild a couple and they worked ok, but he could've done a bit better. But they worked.
Or, you can quit dropping money to band aid them, and just get new units, cause you will have to some day, unless you're gonna sell it soon.
