Change ground battery chassis

I want to change my cable who goes to the chassi, It is now connected to the house battery and I want to change it to the engine battery. Can I just shut off house battery and engine battery and than change it, or do I have to do something more. I do not want to risk to destroy my new ECU
Regards

Takes some pictures and post so we understand what you want to do and the pictures will keep you out of trouble when putting back together. You should not have any issues with the ECU.
